Assuming you have a initial bankroll of $2,000 you want to make some profit,How? Set a target for yourself.Say you want a 10% profit at the end of a month which will equates to $200.

In a month,there are 4 weeks. In 1 week you need to earn $50 to achieve that assuming you want to
earn 10% profit.It takes 1 winning bet or 2 win half betsize bets for you to achieve that.Is that possible?

We are looking at 40 matches a week for the 4 major leagues excluding the cup fixtures in the midweek.Its achievable.Selective betting is the key.You need to know which matches to strike off from the betting list and which matches you could consider for betting.This would primarily lies on your level of handicapping skills.

When you did hit the rough patch which is inevitable for all gambling.
